Initially using this monitor I was a bit confused because I put the settings for the monitor itself on optimum performance at 165 Hz. Even made sure that each game was set to this mode as well but for some reason it was still stuck at 60 Hz. I eventually found the settings in a windows menu to accelerate it from 60 Hz to 165 Hz. I found the quickstart manual a tad bit confusing and wish it had a verbal description to go along with the pictures but it did have good pictures to show hot to install hdmi and display. Immediately I noticed a more vibrant color and definition that prior. I also ran a Pendulum G-sync demo before and after. The tears that were very visible prior are no longer visible at all. This is a huge upgrade from my 75 Hz monitor. I also found it quite easy to setup the hdmi and display cords and they were ample in length. One of my favorite parts is the headset holder on the back of the monitor that you can hide or store your headset for use. Every monitor should have this upgrade! I love it. There are a ton of options to use for the monitor from Night mode to Gaming mode. The crosshair mode is a great plus for me as I have never had such a monitor. I love that it is G-sync compatible. One of the best features is the power and settings button is on the back side of the monitor on the right. The placement is so much better than other models I have had where it's really hard to get to from a sitting position in your chair. With this model it's very easy to reach and use. Minimal bezel around the screen it is very modern in it's visual appearance. The foot of the monitor sits at a diamond orientation and takes up less space than my old monitor which is a plus for me. Haven't had any issues with dead pixels.
